Toms Timofejevs

Toms Timofejevs (born on 1987 in Ventpils, Latvia) started double bass studies in Ventspils Music High school. Then he left to Riga to study with teacher Sergejs Brinums in Latvian Academy of Music, then transferred his studies for Bachelor and Master degree to Royal Danish academy of music in Copenhagen, Denmark to study with teacher Michal Stadnicki.

 

At the moment studies with professor Jorg Linowitzki in Music academy of Lubeck in Germany. Has studied also privately with Gottfried Engels in Cologne, Germany and with Miloslav Jelinek in Brno, Czech Republic.

Since 2011 Toms Timofejevs is working as principal assistant double bass in Odense Symphony orchestra. Before he had worked in Latvian National Symphony orchestra, Sonderjylland’s Symphony orchestra and in 2015 worked in Danish Royal Opera orchestra.

 

Toms has participated in numerous jazz and classical music projects in Latvia and Denmark and performed as soloist with Odense Symphony orchestra in 2014.

Julija Skipore (b. 1985) is a classically educated accordionist, graduated at The Jāzeps Vītols Academy of Music in Riga (Latvia) and The Syddansk Musikkonservatorium.

Aistė Juodagalvytė (b.1982, in Vilnius) has studied in M.K.Čiurlionis school of art and Lithuania Music and Theater academy. She has finished her master degree and solo class degree in Odense, Denmark with professor Arne Balk-Møller.

5 years of studies at the Music Academy in Gdansk and graduated with master. Graduated at the Conservatory in Malmö in Rafael Altino’s class.

Heikki Takkula graduated from Sibelius Academy in Helsinki year 2011 with top honors. Later on he continued his studies in Denmark and played his debut concert spring 2015. Heikki Takkula plays a cello from Cremona 1830.
